Help Louisville Grow.

every tree starts with someone like you.
Every tree planted helps create cooler neighborhoods, cleaner air, healthier communities, and a stronger Louisville for future generations.

Your gift helps:

🌳 Plant trees in Louisville neighborhoods
🌳 Care for young trees so they survive and thrive
🌳 Support free tree giveaways for residents
🌳 Expand canopy at schools, businesses, and community spaces
🌳 Train volunteers and community leaders
🌳 Build a cooler, healthier, greener Louisville

Why Louisville needs trees.

Trees do more than beautify our city. They reduce flooding, improve air quality, lower temperatures, support mental and physical health, and make neighborhoods more resilient.

Yet many Louisville neighborhoods still lack the tree canopy needed to fully experience these benefits. TreesLouisville works to change that by planting and caring for trees where they’re needed most — alongside residents, schools, volunteers, businesses, and community partners.

  • Legacy Giving

Consider making a planned gift to TreesLouisville – your gift will have an impact that will grow for decades!

Sometimes called legacy giving or gift planning, a planned gift allows a donor to support a non-profit with a larger gift than they would make with ordinary income. Planned gifts utilize tax and estate planning to provide for a charity and heirs in a way that can maximize a gift and minimize the impact on a donor’s estate.

There are a number of ways to provide planned gifts: a donor can use cash, appreciated securities or stock, real estate, artwork, personal property, life insurance or retirement plans, etc. that can benefit both the non-profit and the donor greatly.

We are more than happy to work with you and your wealth management partners to determine the perfect way for you to give back to your community by supporting TreesLouisville’s green infrastructure work.

Email us at info@treeslouisville.org or call (502) 208-8746 to discuss Planned Giving options!
