MATT THOMAS

A native Louisvillian, Matt holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. With years of landscaping and gardening experience, he has developed a deep appreciation for nature and a love of working outdoors. After college, he spent several years developing novel ways to study electrical interactions between plants and fungi, and through this work realized the importance of communication and cooperation within ecosystems and communities. With this in mind, Matt believes planting trees is integral to the health and betterment of the community, and when we work towards a common cause, we plant the seed of a brighter and greener tomorrow.
