BEAR MILES

Bear was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH before moving to Louisville to earn their B.S. in Environmental Science from Bellarmine University. During their time at school, an already deep love for nature was able to expand and evolve through working with green urban development and studying aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, as well as through engaging with environmental-centered indigenous cultures. Bear also engages with their Louisville community through creative safe spaces and their work with TreesLouisville, helping to provide a safer and greener space for their community and those they share it with. Bear brings a passionate and charismatic personality to the GreenTeam that shines through in their work.
