The Louisville Nature Center Is Giving Away Trees!

The Louisville Nature Center and Louisville Metro’s Division of Community Forestry are giving away trees. You need to call the Nature Center at 502-458-1328, check the website , or stop by the Nature Center on Illinois Avenue to check out the types of trees that are available. Hurry for the best selection, they want to hear from you by December 6, 2016.

The free trees come in 3 gallon containers and range from 3-5 feet tall. You must promise to care for your new trees, they need to be planted on private property in Jefferson County. You also need to show proof of residency. You can order as many as five trees!
